New VBI Courses Offer College Credit!
We are pleased to announce that University credit is now offered with each ‘Academic’ level course through Vineyard Bible Institute. Courses currently are being taught live by Marian Deitz (M Div; PsyD) and David Bielby (Pastor & BA Bible/Theology). Some of the best Vineyard bible teachers from around the world have teamed up with VBI (South Africa) and St. Stephens University (New Brunswick, Canada) to enable us to offer the best courses in biblical studies, receive college credit AND study right here in our facility in Bloomington/Normal! We forecast there will be hundreds of students enrolled in VBI around the world as this new approach to bible college pioneered by VBI has now added college credit to each course offered. The courses we are offering for the January term form 20% of the Bible Diploma program. The one year bible diploma consists of ten bible courses, an oral exam (offered through SSU), and onsite mentoring by our local VBI teachers.
Courses in the book of Romans & in the book of Hebrews are being offered this January.
The Schedule is:
Hebrews at 9:00 AM Instructor: Marian Deitz
Romans at 7:00 PM Instructor: David Bielby
Classes start January 21, 2006
Both courses are prepared by some of the finest bible teachers in the Vineyard movement. Marian and David will present the material. It is noteworthy that Marian has a unique insight into the Hebrew background, as well as some working knowledge in Hebrew language and culture. David has a special interest in the gospel and additional graduate training in Romans.
Both classes form an integral part of one of four VBI diplomas. See the link to VBI for more information.
Students who do not desire college credit may take these courses as ‘Discipleship’ (like an audit status) level.
